In much of the U.S., late spring through early fall Saturdays are the tightest. White fleets, coach shuttles, and well-reviewed chauffeurs disappear first. If your save-the-date is out, transportation should be on the vendor list soon after venue and photographer.
Popular wedding cities and resort towns can book out even earlier for holiday weekends and foliage or beach peaks.
Shoulder seasons and midweek advantages
Friday, Sunday, and winter dates often have more vehicle choice and sometimes softer pricing. If your guest list is flexible, those calendar choices expand transportation options without lowering the quality of the day.
Morning ceremonies with afternoon receptions can also unlock fleet gaps between other events.
Weather seasons need transport plans
Summer heat argues for reliable AC and shaded staging. Winter and shoulder rain argue for covered load-in and umbrella kits at the curb. Destination mountain or coastal weddings need chassis that can handle the drive, not just look good in a showroom.

Twelve-plus months out for destination or peak Saturday multi-vehicle plans; six to nine months for most hometown peak Saturdays; four to six months minimum if you still want meaningful choice. Last-minute can work in off-peak weeks—do not count on it for October Saturdays.
